The Ditzlers, Yoons and Montoyas took in the diverse animals and plants on view at the San Diego Wild Animal Park in March! Here we are waiting to get into see the pandas, one of which was scheduled to return to China by the end of the week. It was the most popular exhibit, and was worth waiting for.
Brother Dana just needs to fill out a few more pounds and become a little bit hairier, and the female gorillas would love to woo him! Dana's 6'-3", so look how much larger the gorilla outline is than he.
This was my favorite photo at the park. The Bird of Paradise flower couldn't have been more perfect, nor the background any prettier. Go, Mother Nature!
A photo can't get much more vertical than this one with the giraffe straining to reach the yummy greens nestled up in the crotch of the tree out on the Wild Animal savanna. S-t-r-e-t-c-h!
Lots of purple and a beautiful wee butterfly right in the middle!
Butterflies on flowers behind rails are hard to shoot without a closeup lens, so next time, I'm bringing mine!Labels: March/April 2010
