Christmas morning, 6:50 a.m. This is the nearly full moon setting, after having worked so hard to light the evening sky the night before. You are looking at a shot from our upstairs balcony over our guava tree. "Good morning, Moon. Merry Christmas!"

How do you start Christmas dinner, you say? "Always eat dessert first. Life is unpredictable." That's my motto, and evidentally this little guy's as well. Sister-in-law, Sue Eyre, sprayed his mouth so full of whipped cream, he just stood there, not knowing what to do. We all had a good laugh - he was too cute.

Jolly 'ol St. Nick...er, I mean Raymond welcomed the Yoons, Ditzlers and Montoyas to his home for Christmas dinner! Sue and Raymond host a sumptuous meal every year!

Brothers-in-law, Rick and Raymond were cracking up, while the turkey and ham were being sliced to ribbons. They are such carnivores! Poor lil' turkey and piggy.

Great Grandma Eda Bea, Mushroom and Jiho getting ready to do some damage on the platters of food for Christmas dinner at Raymond and Sue's.

The engaged lovebirds took the "Couple of the Evening" Award! Juan and Sandra have gotten their bachelor's degrees, and are working towards their masters! Wedding date is set for 6/11.

Raymond and Sue hosted an excellent Christmas dinner! Ham, turkey and all the fixin's. There was also a choice of white and red wines, sparkling apple cider, and multiple desserts. Yum! In addition, their house looked like it had experienced a makeover - pretty, nicely decorated and cozy! Thank you for having all of us over.

Although Isis was the 1st casualty of the holidays with viral gastroenteritis, Edan was the second of many family members to get sick. He didn't enjoy anything about Christmas, even turned down the offer to open up the first gift. 25 out of 30 were ill by the day after Christmas. Not fun...

The Snuggies got a workout with Bonnie and Jiho! Nice touch with the matching hat, Jiho!

Bonnie getting into being an aggressive zebra, while Celeste the Cheetah, laughs right along!

Isis, the Big-eyed Reindeer, had a very fun-filled day! Too cutiful!

Great Grandma Eda got all snuggly with her new Snuggie!

Celeste received a Snuggie, a space heater, and an electric blanket. She's not cold anymore!

Great Grandma Eda got a lot of stuff, much of which was chocolate! Her gift-givers even labeled it "Don't Share!" Can you imagine...and, she didn't.

Bonnie even wore a Christmas t-shirt to open her gifts!

Denise! We were friends and neighbors in Ventura, California. How are you? I remembered how sad I was when you left Ventura. I don't know if you remember me...I still remember how your Mom dressed up as a gypsy for a halloween party and told fortunes (the photos are somewhere in the world!!)...Riesa Harris
